The service route in Jakobstad
There is a service route called “Vippari” in Jakobstad. The route is laid out within the town and is operated by four so-called low-floored buses that can, depending on the configuration, transport up to 15 passengers. The buses also have spaces for wheel chairs, walking frames and other aids for those with limited mobility or disabilities. The buses have, as the name implies, lowered floors, which makes it easier for disabled passengers to get onto and off the bus.
